Recently, a $20 million Stradivarius Cello was dropped and damaged during a photo shoot. Stradivarii musical instruments are renowned worldwide as some of the greatest ever shaped by the hand of a man. In the late 17th and early 18th centuries, Antonio Stradivari created roughly 1,000 violins, guitars, and cellos. Today, only about 650 remain in existance and are only played by world-class musicians.
No details have been released as to how the cello fell off the table, in what manner it was damaged, or the identity of the butterfingers who dropped it; but, according to the report, a piece that joins the neck to the cello’s body broke and detached from the instrument.
As I reflected on the amazing handiwork of Antonio Stradivari, I could not help but remember these words of Paul, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Think about that. God hand crafted you for good works, so live your life today as a heavenly melody to everyone with whom you come into contact.
And Have a Blessed Day!
