Every December, Men’s Health Magazine announces a winner in the “Manliest Restaurant” Category.  Earning the label of  “manly restaurant” means that you serve predominantly high calorie, meat-centric plates that dudes love to consume.  Although the food is good, it is not good-for-you physically.

The categories listed in Men’s Health Magazine consist of guy-friendly labels: manliest BBQ joint, manliest pizza parlor, manliest steakhouse, manliest burger spot and several others.  However, the bad news is that none of the culinary finalist exists in the Metroplex, so if you want to try some real ‘Man-Fare’ according to Men’s Health, you will have to drive the distance to do it.

The Apostle Paul reminds us that we can feast on spiritual man-food every day, and we do not even have to travel for it.   He said, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”(2 Tim. 3:16-17)

Now that is true man-food for the body and the soul!

Have a Blessed Day!
