Isaiah 26:3: You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts you.
Respond:
*Are you at peace today?
*What keeps you from being at perfect peace today? (things that might happen in the future, finances, family…)
Our minds can lead us to a place of perfect peace or catapult us into catastrophic unrest. Left unchecked, our imagination can take us to a miserable place that should not / does not really exist.
A mind that is focused on God does not just happen by chance; it takes concentrating on scripture, prayer, fellowship with other believers and worship.
John 14:27: Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
