Warren Buffet, one of the wealthiest people in the world, once said, “Of the billionaires I have known, money just brings out the basic traits in them. If they were jerks before they had money, they are simply jerks with a billion dollars.”
And the reverse of that is true as well. If a good person ends up with a billion dollars, chances are he/she is still a good person.
One time Jesus told this parable about a rich man…He said, “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest… and he thought to himself, ‘what shall I do?’ I have no place to store my crops.”(Luke 12) So, he built bigger barns and stored all of his grain for himself thinking he would live a long and happy life, but he did not. He lost his life and his possessions, and Jesus referred to him as a fool.
Basically, the blessed man became selfish, and it cost him everything. As you enter into this Christmas season, do not be like this rich fool. Look around you for people with whom you can share your blessings. This will not only be a blessing to someone else, but you will be as well.
Think about it and have an amazing day!
