A recent article pointed out simple suggestions to make us happier. The first point was to perform Random Acts of Kindness. Even better was the fact that these generous acts of kindness did not have to be anonymous or even big – They just had to be carried out.
Gretchen Rubin said, “We have found that almost any types of acts of kindness boost happiness.” And from my perspective the kindest and happiest people on the planet ought to be Christians.
The Apostle Paul put it this way, “Therefore, as God’s chosen people…clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12
Paul equates certain attributes with our clothing. So, let compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience be your fashion statement today. “Bling” your wardrobe with the extra sparkle of kindness. Wear the characteristics of Colossians 3:12 proudly today. And, remember, kindness never goes out of style.
Think about it, and have a blessed day!
