Developing an Enduring Faith
Lesson 1: An enduring faith is a tested faith
Given the choice, most of us would prefer to take a pass on going through trials. But, James the brother of Jesus tells us that tests and trials strengthen our faith.
He says, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance” (James 1:2-3).
So, if you find yourself experiencing a season of trouble in your life, put a smile on your face and trust God! When you do, you realize that He desires to mold and strengthen your faith through trials. How you handle those difficulties can make you stronger physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Think about it, and have a good day!
