John 9:33, “If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.”

At Cottonwood Creek, I’ve been in a teaching series entitled, “The Case For Christ.” At its core, Christianity has always been about evidence. The evidence of who Christ is and what He has done. In John 9, Jesus healed a blind man. The religious leaders of the day didn’t like that at all because Jesus was getting all the attention for the miracles He was performing and the messages He was teaching.

These religious leaders called this blind man before them who had been healed and asked him who he thought Jesus was. You see, they could not question that the man had been blind but now can see, so instead they questioned him about Jesus’ identity. The blind man responded in John 9:33, “If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.” That’s a reality even for us today. If Jesus wasn’t who He said He was, He would not have been able to heal so many people, and perform so many miracles in front of so many eyewitnesses. Nor could He have risen from the grave.

As you make your journey today, remember Jesus is who He says He is. He did what He said He was going to do, and that included making a blind man see. He can perform the same kind of miracles in your life today!

Think about that…and have a blessed day!
