Enerstine Shepherd continues to stun crowds as the world’s oldest female body builder. At the age of 75, working out is an important part of her daily routine; however, the most inspirational part of her story is that she has not always been focused on fitness.
Twenty years ago she was out with her sister shopping for bathing suits and became frustrated with her physique, so she and her sister decided right then to do something about it. Now 20 years later she is in the Guinness Book as the world’s oldest competitive body builder.
Now- I am not recommending that you decide to become a body builder, but I am telling you that regardless of your age, you can make a decision today to change things for the better.
I love these words from Isaiah 40 which say,
“Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.”(Isaiah 40)
Make a decision today to change things for the better. Eliminate excuses, and focus on the benefit of change.
Have a blessed day.
