1 Corinthians 3:19, For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness…”
Colossians 1:17, He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
This weekend, I will start a new series entitled Explore God. My guess is that you’ve seen some of the billboards or heard the commercials. For seven weeks, I will be asking and answering seven of life’s important questions. One question I will answer is the frequent inquiry, “Is there a God?”
“Is There A God?” Science has proved itself an invaluable tool for increasing our knowledge of the way things work, improving our health, and helping us solve some the world’s problems. Unfortunately, science is limited. The scientific process is confined to the natural, or material, and world what we can observe with our five senses in the here and now. However, you do not use a microscope to observe the patterns of history? You do not use the Laws of Thermodynamics for a better understanding of Shakespeare? No, science is limited to say the least. So, is there a God? The Bible says, “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight…” It also tells us that God is “…before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Therefore, join me this weekend as we begin to Explore God and answer this and other tough questions.
Think about it, and have a blessed day!
