It seems that Apple’s new Voice Recognition Application struggles to understand our “southern dialect” and will often respond by saying, “I didn’t quite get that!” Don’t take it too hard; Apple is not anti-southern accent. The voice recognition program struggles with Spanish, British and Indian dialects as well.
Apple engineers are promising that with progression of time, the sophisticated program will improve its understanding of specific dialects; but for now we just have to live with the glitches as the program grows. Which means living with the response, “I didn’t quite get that!”
So many times in life we wish the answer was as easy as speaking into a phone that spit back the correct answer; however, if you are struggling for answers today don’t consult your IPhone. Look to God’s Word. He fully understands your dialect and His words are always trustworthy. Most importantly, He will never say, “I don’t quite get that!”
God tells us in scripture, “Listen to me, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips and speak what is right” (Proverbs 8:6). So call on Him today!
Have a Blessed Day!
