I recently read a story about a dry-cleaning mix-up that is leaving one “bride-to-be” with the wrong dress.
It seems that 26 years ago, her mother was married and then took her wedding dress to the local dry cleaners to be properly cleaned and preserved in a box.
And so the box sat, unopened, for 26 years…until the other day. The daughter’s engagement led to the opening of the box holding the heirloom. But to the shock of all, the box contained the wrong dress. The duo is now searching for the right wedding dress. The dry cleaners that originally cleaned and packaged the dress is no longer in business, but they are hoping that social media and word-of-mouth will help them locate the real dress, even after all these years.
Often times in life, the things worth finding take a little work. You have to put your whole heart into the ‘finding’ process. I do hope they find the dress, but more importantly today…I want you to know that you can find God. In the book of Jeremiah, God says, “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Be a seeker today and have a blessed day!
