Recently, two Quantas pilots were grounded indefinitely after a fight in the cockpit of a Boeing 747 jumbo jet before it left DFW airport. Apparently the pilot and second officer began arguing over flight details and other issues and ultimately became more concerned about themselves than the passengers.

As a result, Quantas grounded them pending an investigation for the safety of the passengers.  As I thought about that, I wondered how often we let petty disagreements and arguments ground us. The end result is that we never get off the ground and reach the heights that God wants us to achieve.

That is one of the reasons that the Bible says, as much as you can “make very effort to live in peace with all men…”(Hebrews 12:14).
Create a mental list today of people who constantly invoke a fight in you, and make decisions to stop arguing and start enjoying their company. Maybe then you will reach the heights God has planned for you and for those traveling with you.
Have a Blessed Day!
