God Remembers Your Sin No More – June 7, 2016

1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Isaiah 43:25, “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for My own sake, and remembers your sins no more.

Sunday, I began preaching a new sermon series titled, “Faces Of Grace!” I titled it “Faces Of Grace” because everyone needs grace. Men, women, young, old, single, and married need grace; we are the faces of grace.

Yesterday, we looked at John 8 where the woman was caught in adultery, and some wanted her stoned. However, Jesus said, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Do you remember what happened? They all left because they were all guilty of some type of sin. Then Jesus looked at the woman and said, “…neither do I condemn you.” Now that is grace. She was sinful and deserved punishment, but Jesus chose grace. That is still true today; God offers grace for the worst of sinners. Though we do not deserve it, God wipes our slate clean by His grace. Read this in Isaiah 43:25, The Lord says… “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions…and remembers your sins no more.”

Now that’s grace and really great news!

Think about it,and have a grace-filled day!
