Did you know that your personality can kill you? That is the finding of a recently published article in LiveScience. According to their research, our different personality types can effect our long-term health and even the length of our lives.

The most damaging personality traits are anxiety, gloom and doom, cynicism, stress and constant fretting. However, those who have the exact opposite personalities from those listed above have a tendency to be healthier and live longer. So, what can we do about it?

Granted, you can not change the way you were born or the impact from formative childhood years, but you can change your focus and disposition today.

One day the Psalmist penned these words for those who were struggling in life:
“1 Do not fret because of evildoers, Be not envious toward wrongdoers….
3 Trust in the LORD and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and He will do it.
6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your judgment as the noonday.
7 [b]Rest in the LORD and wait [c]patiently for Him;
Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,
Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.
8 Cease from anger and forsake wrath;
Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing.
9 For evildoers will be cut off,
But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land.

So fret not and don’t worry today. Instead, “Trust in the Lord and do good” then leave the rest to Him.
