Ephesians 5:22, Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.… 25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her…

Christ gave His life for the church. Are we giving our lives for our wives? Wives are you submissive toward your husband? If we took an inventory, we would soon know the answer to those questions. Does our calendar show that we spend time with our wives or husband just to be with them and enjoy their company? Does our speech communicate tender affection, encouragement, understanding, and appreciation or does it sound demanding, uncaring, and uninterested? Do our prayers express gratitude to God for our wives and husbands? Biblical submission is designed to be between two Spirit-filled believers who are mutually yielded to each other and to God. Submission is a position of honor and completeness. While God has created men and women to function differently, a godly marriage is marked by unity. It is only when both the role of the wife and the husband are fully embraced that our marriages bring glory to God.

Put it into practice see what happens.
