Did you know there is power in a smile? That seems like simple advice, but if you are in Milan, there is actually a law on the books that governs the expression on your face when you are in public. The law requires those who are walking around in public to have a smile on their faces unless they are visiting a funeral home or a hospital. The point of the law is that a smiling community is a happy community.
I don’t know how much they actually implement the fine for frowners, but smiling more is never a bad thing. Scripture says:
Proverbs 15:13 says, “A glad heart makes a cheerful face…” When it comes to smiling, most of us think we will smile WHEN we are happy.

Proverbs 15:30, says, “A Cheerful look brings joy to the heart.” Did you hear the subtle difference? The first verse said when your heart is happy it puts a smile on your face. The second verse says that a smile on your face can put joy in your sad heart. Let me reiterate that again, “A Cheerful look brings joy to the heart.”

In other words, there is a two-way street between your face and your heart. When your heart is happy put a smile on your face. When your heart is sad, put a smile on your face;  it will change your heart. So today, put a smile on your face and have a blessed day!
