God’s Word tells us that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17
People often ask me questions about the Bible. They ask if the Bible contains a bunch of mistakes. They wonder if someone could really copy a manuscript of the Bible word-for-word and letter-for -letter without making a mistake.
Richard Epstein just did it on May 18th of this year. He copied the entire Torah, which includes 304,805 letters, without making one mistake, and he is an amateur where back in the Bible times the scribes who copied the manuscripts did it full-time. It was all they did.
So if an amateur can copy the Torah in its original language without mistakes, don’t you think professionals could? When you consider the over 5,000 manuscripts that we have, the question really isn’t whether or not we have an accurate copy of the bible. The answer is a clear YES.
The Biggest question is…Do You Read it? Take time today to get into God’s Word. Get a plan to be faithful to the study of Scripture in your daily life.
Think about it…and have a blessed day!
