You know I have learned two things as a pastor over the years. First thing is this… everybody has emotional wounds, at least one, and some people have more. Some people do a better job of hiding them while others do not.
Secondly, I have learned… emotional wounds take a lot longer to heal than physical wounds. Physical wounds will sometimes take a week, a month, or sometimes even a year to heal. Sometimes our emotional wounds really never heal.
Here is what the Bible says about your emotional wounds. Psalm 147:3, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Join in the rest of the week as we talk about the healing power of God’s Word.
