Do You Procrastinate? Studies tell us that we often feel overwhelmed because we have a tendency to procrastinate…and we often procrastinate because we don’t know where to start.

The Bible says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”(James 1:5)

The good news is that stopping procrastination is easier than you think.  Here are three “C’s” to stopping procrastination:

1)    CHOOSE-Choose the hardest and most important task and work on that!

Dale Carnegie once said, “if you do the hard job first…the easy jobs take care of themselves.”

2)    CEASE/Stop Thinking about it and start doing! Yes, planning is good, but overthinking can make mountains out of molehills and can bog you down which leads to inaction.

3)    COMPLETE-Complete the Task!…Don’t get distracted from your most important task…and stay with it until you finish it!

Life is a continuous learning cycle- You are never too old or too young to gain knowledge and apply wisdom.  Whether you are learning Biblical Principles, time-management, money management or parenting tips-  Continue your pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.

Proverbs 2 reminds us:

1 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—3 indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD  and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,8 for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
