Keep On Keepin’ On! Pt.2
Psalm 86:15, But You, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
Isaiah 30:18, Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore He
will rise up to show you compassion.
Romans 11:6, And if by grace, then it cannot be based on
works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.
Titus 2:11, For the grace of God has appeared that offers
salvation to all people.
2 Thessalonians 2:16, May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and
God our Father, Who loved us and by His grace gave us eternal
encouragement and good hope…
How Do I Keep On Living In God’s Grace?

  1. Go Back To The BASICS
Hebrews 5:11, We have much to say about this, but it is hard to
make it clear to you because you no longer try to understand. 12 In
fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need
someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s Word all over
again. You need milk, not solid food! 13 Anyone who lives on milk,
being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about
righteousness. 14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant
use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.
1 Corinthians 3:1, Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as
people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere
    Keep On Living In
    infants in Christ.
1 Peter 2:2, Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by
it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that
    the Lord is good.
  2. Pressing On To MATURITY
Hebrews 6:1,* Therefore let us move beyond the elementary
teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying
again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and
of faith in God, 2 instruction about cleansing rites, the laying on of
hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. 3 And God
    permitting, we will do so.*
Matthew 7:24, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine
and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on
the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds
blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its
    foundation on the rock.
  3. Watch Out For The TROUBLE SPOTS
Hebrews 6:4, It is impossible for those who have once been
enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in
the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the Word of God
and the powers of the coming age 6 and who have fallen away, to be
brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son
of God all over again and subjecting Him to public disgrace. 7 Land
that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop
useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God. 8
But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in
danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.
Matthew 13:18, “Listen then to what the parable of the sower
means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the Kingdom and
does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what
was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The
seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the Word
and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they
last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of
the Word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns
refers to someone who hears the Word, but the worries of this life and
the deceitfulness of wealth choke the Word, making it unfruitful. 23 But
the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the Word
and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a
hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
  4. Persevere In Hope For BETTER THINGS
Hebrews 6:9, Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are
convinced of better things in your case—the things that have to do
with salvation. 10 God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and
the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and
continue to help them. 11 We want each of you to show this same
diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully
realized. 12 We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those
who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
1 Corinthians 9:19, Though I am free and belong to no one, I have
myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews
I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became
like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to
win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like
one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am
under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the
weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all
people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23 I do all this
for the sake of the Gospel, that I may share in Its blessings.
