Luke 2:9-11 says, An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord...

The message from the angel to the shepherds that day was to not be afraid. That is the same message God brings us today. He is telling us this Advent season that Christ’s birth is about good news and great joy for all people. You might be facing fear, but do not miss God’s glory.  You might be terrified this Christmas, but do not close your eyes to the good news of Christ, our Savior. You might feel that all is lost, but we have a Savior who came for us to be redeemed.

Share the message of hope, glory, confidence, and joy with those around you this season.
