In Matthew’s Gospel, Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”(Mt. 11:28)

Recently, a Minnesota man was mad over personal issues and as a result vandalized 6 churches by breaking down doors, throwing rocks through the stained glass windows and writing offensive messages on the walls of the church. He has since been caught.

When the reporters spoke with one of the pastors affected, the minister said, “ The most important thing is that the man is getting the help he needs, and I would like for him to know he is forgiven in Jesus.”

This reminds me that life does not always turn out the way we want it, and oftentimes we shake our fist at God, when all the time, He wants to give us the help and forgiveness we so desperately need.

If you are struggling with life’s burdens and outcomes today, do not get mad a God!  Instead, take Jesus’ advice and come to Him and He will give you the rest and peace you so desperately need.

Think about it, and have a blessed day!
