This month, the Oreo turns 100 years old. The longevity and continued popularity of the cookie makes it an all time favorite. And after 100 years, the Oreo has remained iconic and it is still a dessert staple as the best-selling cookie of all time.

For many people the classic Oreo cookie is synonymous with childhood. Your memory might be the excitement of finding the cookie in your school lunch, breaking them apart with your family at home, taking them to camp, or dunking them in milk with your grandmother. This small, round cookie has a way of making us enjoy the moment.

Solomon encouraged us to enjoy life by saying, “I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun” (Ecclesiastes 8:15).

So have an Oreo today!
Have a Blessed Day!
