The recent London Olympics became the 2nd most-viewed event in American television viewing history. For 17 days, 10,000 athletes from 200 nations competed in 26 sports and 39 disciplines. No wonder NBC was willing to pay some $2.2 billion for the right to broadcast the London Olympics.

While most of us will never have a crowd watching our every move, and many we cross paths with will not even notice we exist, our heavenly father does notice, and how we live does matter to Him.

The Apostle Paul offered these encouraging words about how we should walk when he said, “Walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God” (Eph. 5:2).

Even though we might not live our lives on the Olympic stage, we can still live an Olympic life by showing love to those around us today.

Have a Blessed Day!
