Did you know that what you “EAT & DRINK” can make you smarter?
Many of us set New Years Goals to improve in some areas of our lives. You are never too old or too young to GET SMARTER. I recently read a study that said I can get smarter by what I EAT & DRINK.
Here are a few things we can eat & drink to boost our short & long-term memories:
Eat Yogurt: The probiotics in yogurt are good for your Body & BRAIN
Eat Dark Chocolate: it won’t improve your IQ overnight, but the FLAVONOIDS improve your memory (I wonder if that includes Oreos)
Stay Hydrated: Dehydration forces the brain to work harder & reduces your outcome and performance.
Drink Coffee: a little coffee bolsters your short-term memory.
In the Bible, Peter said what we eat matters to our spiritual lives…He said, “Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk of God’s Word, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.(1 Peter 2:2)
So as you think about getting smarter physically by what you eat…don’t forget to feed yourself spiritually on the truth of God’s Word.
