The FAA  recently made a decision to allow American Airline Pilots to replace the 35 pounds of paper called “Flight Bags” with iPads.

The 35 pounds of paper that had previously been required in a pilot’s flight bag was filled with aviation regulations, manuals and other paperwork. However, now, the pilots can carry an iPad that contains all the same material but with lighter, easier access to manuals and regulations. On top of that, American Airlines says, “Removing the 35-pound kitbag from each American Airlines plane will save an estimated $1.2 million of fuel annually…”

That report reminded me of a powerful scripture!  In Hebrews 12:1, The Bible says, “… let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
What is weighing you down right now? Is it fear? Worry? Laziness? Loneliness? Loss? Do what it takes to rid yourself of the excess baggage, habits, or sins that are holding you back, and then you can soar to the heights God intended for you!
Have a Blessed Day!
