Romans 5:1, Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…
John 3:17, For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.
James 1:22, Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
Most of us could use a second chance, sometimes even a third or fourth chance. The good news is that Jesus is all about second chances. Jesus said in John 3:17, “I didn’t come to judge the world, but to save it.” That means God doesn’t stand behind you and shake His head disapprovingly when you blow it. You don’t need to feel ashamed about your past failures because God isn’t ashamed of you.
Romans 5:1 says, “…since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ…” Are you at peace with God? Jesus Christ provides peace to each of us. Being at peace with God means we are consistently aware of God’s unconditional and never-ending love and forgiveness. Instead of letting your past failures define you, my prayer is that you will fully understand God’s great love for you and the peace He offers so that you will have the strength to get back up the next time you fall down.
Take care and have a blessed day!

What did you hear?– What did God say to you as you read today’s Scripture and devotion?
What do you think?– How does it apply to your life?
What will you do?– Don’t just be a hearer of the Word. Be a doer of the Word. (James 1:22)
Now talk to God– This is where you turn your thoughts into prayer. It could be a prayer of gratitude of praise. It could be a prayer of confession or a request for God’s help. It’s up to you. Take a minute to write a prayer or response to what God said to you.
