Read:
1 Corinthians 2:16: We have the mind of Christ.

Respond:
What do you think it means to have the mind of Christ?
What might you need to change in order to have the mind of Christ?

Often married couples, siblings, or close friends will finish each other’s sentences or know unspoken thoughts or emotions. Why is this? Do they have some sort of magical ability? NO, they have spent years getting to know the other person… years studying another’s facial expressions, beliefs, habits, lifestyle and much more.
So you may ask yourself, how do I have the mind of Christ? Get to know Him. How do you get to know him? INVEST THE TIME. Invest the time in getting to know Him through scripture, prayer, worship and fellowship.

Additional scripture:

2 Corinthians 10:3-5New International Version (NIV)

For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
I love the quote from today’s TRANSFORMED devotional guide: “The more you get into the Word of Christ, the more the spirit of Christ will teach you to think with the mind of Christ.”
