As you might imagine, that headline caught my attention and had me asking a couple of questions. Is he OK? How could that happen?

To answer the first question, yes, he was OK.

To answer the second question, the article reported that apparently the man was looking at his iPod and didn’t see the train coming and the music blaring in his ears prevented him from hearing it.The man was lucky, to say the least, and hopefully learned a valuable lesson.

That incident serves as a good reminder for each of us to pay attention because trouble is always around us.

As I thought about the man and the train, I remembered this Proverb: “25Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. 26 Give careful thought to the paths for your feet” (Proverbs 4:25-27).

As you make your journey today, look ahead there might be trouble. Look up, God will offer you WISDOM.

Have a Blessed Day!
