What kind of credentials do you have? Have you ever wanted to go into a pretty important place

or go see a pretty important person, but knew you didn’t have the proper credentials? In Romans

5, the Apostle Paul says, “…we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now

stand…” That word “access” is the same word used in ancient times for gaining entrance to see

the King. Just like today, you cannot go see the President unless you have the proper credentials

and a specific invitation. However, that verse tells us that through faith we can have access to

the King. Nevertheless, here’s the better news. That verse doesn’t just say we get access to the

King and then we get swiftly ushered away. No, that verse says we get to stand or stay in the

King’s presence.

Therefore today, don’t forget that as a child of God, you have access to King. Now that you

have been reminded of your access to the King, spend a little time talking with Him in prayer.

After all, that’s why you are there, so talk with the King today.

Think about it…and have a blessed day!
