Christ Lives In Me – August 2, 2016
As a Senior about to graduate college, I keep Galatians 2:20 close to my heart. It reads, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
There have been times in my life where opportunities for Jesus to love others through me have been missed because I was distracted or focused on worldly desires. Sometimes it is important to stop and remind myself my purpose on this earth, which is to be the hands and feet of the Savior. The Lord has blessed me by providing me with a college campus that serves as my mission field. Because Christ lives in me and gives me strength, I need to continue to strive to be a light to those around me instead of pursuing the things of this earth. So, no matter where your mission field may be, remember that Christ is alive in you, and it is our job as believers to reflect and share our Savior’s love. The things of this world are fleeting, but gifts from Christ are forever eternal.
Take care and have a blessed day!
