Galatians 6:9, And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.
You reap after you sow! A farmer doesn’t go out and plant in the morning and expect a harvest in the afternoon. Not at all. A farmer knows that he plants, then the seed has to germinate. Eventually with proper water, nourishment and care, the farmer knows he will reap a harvest, but it comes after he sows.
In other words, our good words and good actions towards others are like seeds we plant every day. We must always remember that we may not notice immediate differences with those in whom we invest. We might show Christ’s love to others at our offices, in our neighborhoods, and even within our own families for years before we see hearts change. Remember, the harvest comes after you sow, so stay faithful, keep sowing and trust God that the harvest will come.
Take care and happy sowing today!
