In Romans 12:12, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”

Truth is… life can be hard, but the Apostle Paul gives us three pretty simple thoughts that can help us endure almost anything.

He says, “Be joyful in hope.” In other words, regardless of how hard things get, remember to hold on to hope!  It is the lifeblood of your soul.

He also said, “Be Patient in Affliction.” In other words, most hardships are temporary.  That word “Patience” is probably better translated “Endurance.”  Enduring difficulties is something we can all choose to do in troubling times.

And finally he said, “Be faithful in Prayer.”  In other words, regardless of how hard the world may get and how many others may shut you out—God never will.  At any point, we can talk to God openly and honestly – AND THAT IS COMFORTING.

Think about it and have a blessed day!
