Lesson 3: An effective faith knows how to temper its temper.

James the brother of Jesus said,

“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,  because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires” (James 1:19,20).

However, our natural tendency is to quickly head to anger, ignoring what people say and letting our opinions and advice flow quickly without much thought, wisdom or prayer. Make the effort to listen intently. Push pause on a response, and hold your anger today!

Think about it, and have a good day!
