Earlier this week, we learned that Joseph did not let his family keep him from being all that God wanted him to be, and he did not let tough circumstances stifle God’s plan in his life.

A quick survey of Joseph’s life divulges a simple fact:
When Joseph was loved by his father, he knew God was with him!
When Joseph was hated by his brothers, he still knew God was with him!
When he was sold into slavery and taken into a foreign land, he knew God was with him!
When Joseph was promoted in Potiphar’s house, he knew God was with him!
When Joseph was thrown back into prison, he still knew God was with him!
And when he was promoted to be second in command behind only Pharaoh, he knew God was with him.

I understand the simple fact of knowing God is with you is often clouded by judgment, by circumstances, and by disobedience; however, none of these aspects actually changes the fact that God promises to be with us, omnipresent in our lives. Remember today… whether you feel loved or hated, promoted or rejected, alone or smothered with affection, do not ever, ever, ever forget “God is with you!”

Think about it…and have a blessed day!
Genesis 39:2, 21, 23
2The LORD was with Joseph so that he prospered, and he lived in the house of his Egyptian master…21the LORD was with him; He showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden… 23 The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care, because the LORD was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.
