Romans 8:38, For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

My current sermon series covers one of my favorite chapters of the Bible. In Romans 8:31, Apostle Paul says, “If God is for us, who can be against us.” What an incredible thought! The God who created the universe and everything in it including you and me, is on our side. Literally, He is for us!

Read these words found in Romans 8:38, Paul says, “For I am convinced that neither (1) death, nor life, nor (2) angels, nor principalities, nor (3) things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from (4) the love of God, which is (5) in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Paul says if God is for us, we can be convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God. In a world filled with so much violence and hate, these are definitely encouraging words, “nothing can separate us from the love of God!” So, as you make your journey today, stand strong in knowing that we are held tight in God’s palm, and nothing can separate us from His love. Knowing this should change how you walk through each day with confidence and assurance cloaked around you. Understanding this eases loneliness and tames fear.

Take care and remember… God is for you today!
