James 4:14, “You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”
I recently attended the funeral for an 18-year-old kid who was killed in a car accident. It was a very tough situation, and it reminded all of us how precious and fleeting life is. This kid did not know it would be his last car ride, and you and I don’t know when we will breath our last breath. It is frightful and compelling at the same time. I want to encourage you to evaluate the things in your life that truly matter and hold on to those things. Life is short. Time is precious. Every minute counts. Live every day with a passion and tenacity because it might be your last. We are not promised today, tomorrow or even our very next breath. Cherish the time with the family and friends you have, and put all your heart and soul into whatever your hand finds to do.
