21 Day Linked-In Devotional
Isaiah the Prophet said: Give thanks to the LORD; proclaim his name! Make his works known among the peoples. ISAIAH 12:4
The Bible reminds us that we do have a lot to be thankful for in our lives. God has forgiven us and given us salvation. Through His Son Jesus Christ, He welcomes us into His family.
Now that’s a lot to give thanks for—but take notice Isaiah also said, “Make God’s works known among the peoples”—in other words, Give thanks both privately and publicly and in big ways and small ways. Part of being thankful-includes sharing your faith with others.
This might mean that we need to push past our insecurities, our fears, and our desire to please others in order to share our thankfulness with those around us. And why wouldn’t we—Sharing our faith is “Good News”-the good news that others can find that same forgiveness and salvation and also be welcomed into God’s family through God’s Son.
So as you make your journey today—“Give thanks”—both privately and publicly.
