John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

Currently I am in a teaching series at Cottonwood  entitled, “The Case For Christ!” The Case for Christ is always a case for love, God’s love. Jesus said in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” To be honest, that’s more love than you or I would ever have for anyone. That’s the kind of love God had for us. The love that sent His son into this world to ultimately die on the cross for our sins.

Most of us are familiar with John 3:16, but read the very next verse. John 3:17, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.”
God sent His son Jesus into the world, not to condemn it, but to save it. The beauty of being a follower of Jesus Christ is the same reason God leaves us in the world. Our call as Christians is not to walk around condemning the world but to share the love of God to everyone with whom we come into contact. As you make your journey today, always remember you are on a saving mission not a condemning one.

Think about that and have a blessed day!
