2 Timothy 3:16, All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

This weekend, I begin a new series entitled Explore God.  For seven weeks, I will ask and answer seven of life’s most important questions.  One question that will be covered is: “Is The Bible Reliable?”

The Bible is a collection of books, of varying genres, all focused on the mystery of God and His relationship with His creation. It has been said that “The Bible is not an ordinary book that reads smoothly from cover to cover. It is actually a library, or collection, of books written by different authors in several languages over several thousand years. Its books are ‘shelved’ by type and topic, just as in a public library: the Law, History, Poems, Wisdom Literature, the Prophets, the Life of Jesus, Letters to Churches, and descriptions of the past, present and future.” It’s no wonder the Bible is the best-selling, most-read book of all time. Scripture says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

So join me this weekend, as we begin to Explore God and answer Questions like “Is The Bible Reliable?”

Think about it…and have a blessed day!
