Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.”

Have you ever been caught somewhere when there was a tornado warning? I was recently in this situation, and my first thought was to find the most secure place as quickly as possible. We hunkered down inside of an old cement building, laid down on the ground, and prayed for the storm to pass. That is the picture we are given here from the Proverb. When the storms of life blow through, where do you run? Is your safe place money? A job? A person? Or, is it the One who controls the wind? Friends, I hope you know there is a God out there who loves you, cares for you, and desires a relationship with you. Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Run to Him today.
