Isaiah 41:10, So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Have you eaten your frog today? This seems like an odd question to start your week, but it is actually a pretty good one. Mark Twain once said, “Eat a live frog first thing in the morning, and nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day!” In other words, do the day’s most unappealing task first thing, and after that, everything you encounter is better.

I think that same idea could apply to Mondays. Eat your frog on Monday, and enjoy the rest of your week. Are there tasks this week you know you have to do but don’t want to do? If so, get it done today and the rest of your week will be much more enjoyable. If your frog this week seems particularly bitter, keep this Bible verse in mind, So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”(Isaiah 41:10)

Think about it, and have a blessed day!
