Having money is not a bad thing and if given the choice most of us would take more of it. What we do with the money we have is what matters. Some want money to survive and some to comfortably meet their basic needs; however, too many Americans want more money so they can buy more STUFF.

Here is what Jesus said about stuff. “Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

In addition to Christ’s ultimate, perfect wisdom, research shows that material possessions do not generate true, lasting happiness. The same study shows that if you want to get the most out of your money, choose people over posessions. More quality time with those we love improves our spirits. Joy comes when you make memories with your FAMILIES.

So as you ponder what to spend your money on today, don’t think about your next purchase. Go someplace. Take a trip. Make a memory. And you’ll be happier for it.

When we make memories with our families then we know we get a real “Bang for Your Buck!”

Have a Blessed Day!
