A recent New York Times article reports that by the end of the year, Google will introduce Smart Glasses. These smart glasses will stream real-time information directly to the lenses of this high-tech product. Smart Glasses will cost between $300 & $600 dollars and will look like a pair of Oakley sunglasses. The glasses will be Android-based with a built in camera that overlays information from the web to your lenses.

However, some worry that Smart Glasses will just add distracted walking and distracted biking to the list alongside distracted driving. They are right! We do not need any more distractions during transit. The same is true in our Christian Life. We have enough distractions to cause us to lose focus on the correct path in our Christ-centered walk.

That is why the Bible says that we should, “…throw off everything that hinders us and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,  fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”

So as you run today stay focused on the main thing…Jesus!

Have a Focused & Blessed Day!
