Genesis 2:7, Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Sunday, I started preaching my new series entitled, ‘Explore God,’ by answering the question, “Does Life Have A Purpose?” For us to really understand life’s purpose, we have to know where we came from. Christianity is the only story that allows us to account for both our dignity and our brokenness as humans. If you have ever walked into a movie late, you may recall your disorientation. Characters were interacting, a plot was unfolding, but you could not quite make sense of what was going on. Without prior explanation or background information, none of the pieces fit together.

However, Christianity explains not only explains our origin, it gives us real meaning. The Bible says in Genesis 2:7, “Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” So, Christianity helps us put the puzzle of life together. We were uniquely created by a God who loves us, and as a result, we are special to God, and each of us has real purpose. Join me this Sunday as I answer the question: “Is There A God?”

Think about it, and have a blessed day!
