Micah 7:7, “But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. 8Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”

Do you ever feel so overwhelmed because of the sin in your life that you just don’t know what to do? Do you ever feel like giving up because you keep failing God constantly? Well, don’t worry, every believer struggles with sin, and the prophet Micah gives us the perfect response to the enemy when we do fail. He says this, “But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”

This is the perfect response to the Devil when he condemns us for mistakes we have made. We must simply remember that every time we fall down, God will pick us up, and even though times may seem dark to us, the Lord is with us through it all and this darkness is not dark to Him. As you are going about the business of your day, please think about these things, and allow the Lord to be your light.

Have a blessed day.
