Colossians 1:17, And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

People ask all the time, “What is God’s will for me?” “What does He want me to do?” We tend to ponder these questions like it’s some mysterious and mystical thing we have to discern by being right with God. There is nothing we can do to be right with God, apart from us trusting in Christ’s sacrifice for our sin. Colossians 1:17 says, “And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Wherever you may work, or not work, whoever you may be with or not be with, or wherever you may live or not live, if you are seeking alignment with God’s word, you are in His will. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth (Colossians 3:2), then you’ll begin to discover God’s will for your life.
