This week we’ve been looking at how God’s Word can heal your emotional wounds. The reality of it is that every one of us has some hurts, habits, hang-ups and emotional wounds. Here is step one in getting over an emotional pain from the past. It is that I must reveal my hurt. Some people try to ignore their pain others run from their pain and others just push it down. The Bible says that we need to be honest about our hurt. We need to take it to God. We need to be honest with ourselves and we probably need to share it with one other person so that they can help us bear our burden.
Here is what the Bible says. Psalm 32:3, “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.” When we share it with God and ask Him to help us, and we share it with someone else we trust, we know we can get through it.
Think about that this week and have a blessed day!
