When something is crushed, it is usually not a good thing. Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived and the third King of Israel, once said, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bone” (Proverbs 17:22).
In this scripture, the word “Crushed” references a crushed spirit or a crushed attitude. However, if you take that same word “CRUSH,” you can build an acrostic out of it that will actually build your attitude and lighten your spirit.
C: Cultivate an attitude of gratitude.
R: Remember what’s really important in life.
U: Use adversity to build resilience.
S: Stay hopeful in hopeless situations.
H: Have a positive outlook- even under negative circumstances.
Now that’s CRUSHING it in a good way!
Think about it, and have a blessed day.
