Hi this is Ryan Koesel, Singles & Care Group & Recovery Pastor at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen, TX. with your Inspirational Thought for today.

If you haven’t heard this recently, hear it now and take it to heart. “I’m proud of you, good job, well done, keep it up!”

I pass this on to you because I recently had a godly man affirm and encourage me in this way. He didn’t need to do it, yet he did, and I needed to hear it.  I almost got choked up.

In Matthew 25, in the parable of talents, Jesus uses a connection & word picture of being faithful,  being rewarded, and being praised.  This verse is ultimately a “Well Done” from God.

What does this mean for us today?  We need to pass it on. Build each other up, and glorify God through positive words of affirmation. But, most of all…be like Jesus, and encourage others in a godly way.

Matthew 25:23

23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!
